Ambassadors is a student employment opportunity where those who have participated in high-impact practices assist the Institute for Engaged Learning (IEL) in promoting and marketing its programming and recruiting students for various engaged learning opportunities, including undergraduate research, civic engagement, first-year experience, and ePortfolio. Ambassadors share their experiences through one-on-one informal interactions with students at tabling events, through classroom presentations and by staffing the front desk of the IEL. Ambassadors also assist IEL staff in projects related to assessment of high-impact practices, as well as provide program support to the research, civic engagement, cohort and first year experience teams within the IEL.
