All students in this service learning course will be required to participate in a variety of activities related to better understanding of food insecurity and the role of social issues (such as hunger) and their connection to health outcomes. Students will actively listen to a panel of speakers, watch a video, and complete community service hours throughout the semester. Each activity will be supplemented with individual and class reflection assignments.
